All members, past members, and friends are invited to join us to celebrate the first 160 years of brass band service to Marlborough.
During the 160 years since 1861 the band has operated continuously under both military and civil guises, and using the following names:
- Blenheim Citizens Band
- Blenheim Garison Band
- 10th Mounted Regimental Band
- 2nd Marlborough Battalion Band
- Blenheim Municipal Band
- Marlborough District Brass Band
Celebration Programme:
Friday 21st October 2022: Meet & Greet from 7pm at Band Rooms 15 Auckland Street, Blenheim
Saturday 22nd October 2022: 10:30am Parade step off from Seymour / Arthur Street Corner, followed by Remembrance Service at cenetaph (Seymour Square Clock Tower).
6:00pm Dinner at Marlborough Events Centre (adjacent to ASB Theatre Marlborough)
Sunday 23rd October 2022: 7:30pm Brilliant Brass in Blenheim Concert - ASB Theatre Marlborough.
